Most Recently Baked Cake

This one had such a short turn around. I got the order on Saturday and it was due on Monday. I put my best into it

and tried out all the things I had learnt. I ended up making cakes with concentric rings of chocolate and vanilla and stacking them up to create a checkered effect.

For the icing I did a strip effect of vanilla/chocolate/vanilla/chocolate. I also did a ganache drip and alternated kit kat chocolates with a icing whorls.

I liked the cake after I was through with it:)
