It was a pleasure making a cake for my daughter who was turning 13. We had different options but finally decided for a fault line cake with a silhouette of her. I really liked the cake and I got to try out adding home-made caramel to the batter to create a caramel cake. I think using her silhouette rather than a generic silhouette added her personality to the cake!
