Memory Verse

John 8:29 New International Version (NIV)

29 The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases him.”

Other things I learnt

· Helping people when in need not for political reasons like Ziba but out of genuine care like Barzillai the Gileadite, Abiathar, Zadok and their two sons, Ittai the Gittite. See how Barzillai was rewarded

· Why did Joab talk to the King like that – vs 7

· There is power in the mouth of a king (Ecclesiastes 8:4; Psalm 104:27-30). When he cried, they stole away. When he sat at the gate, they came out

· Even though David didn’t like Joab and his brother, they were faithful to him.
